What is confirmed

Topps lists 2026 Topps Holiday Baseball for release October 21 after its September 21 preorder. The manufacturer calendar warns that dates are subject to change.[1],[3]

The release uses a 200-card base set of veterans and rookies. Topps has announced Holiday Boxes, Collector’s Tins and Advent Calendars with distinct format-exclusive seasonal content.[1],[2]

Topps has published a 14-page checklist covering the base set, Base Cards Chrome Variations, ornaments, seasonal variations, Hidden Elf cards, Making the NICE List! cards, faux relics and Holiday Relics.[2]

Official checklist overview

The official checklist numbers the base set H1–H200 and Base Cards Chrome Variations HC1–HC200, followed by separate seasonal insert, variation and relic sections.[2]

  • Hidden Elf is numbered HE-1 through HE-25, Making the NICE List! is numbered MNL-1 through MNL-25, and the checklist includes 20 standard and 20 oversized Die Cut Ornament entries.[2]
  • The checklist includes stars such as Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, plus rookies including Konnor Griffin, Roman Anthony, Munetaka Murakami and JJ Wetherholt.[2]
  • A checklist appearance does not guarantee a player, insert, parallel or relic in an individual product or format.[2]

Confirmed seasonal content

  • Metallic Gingerbread Man and Snow Days debut in the 2026 parallel lineup. Making the NICE List! die-cuts highlight players and selected single-season statistics.[1]
  • Hidden Elf cards return. The product page describes five variations for each of five players, while the checklist lists 25 HE-numbered entries across 25 named players, so this guide does not infer an unexplained variation structure or odds.[1],[2]
  • Topps previews Base Chrome Variations, autographs and Hidden Elf cards, while the checklist separately identifies Holiday Faux Relics and a player-based Holiday Relics section.[1],[2]
