The official 2026 Topps Holiday Baseball checklist turns a broad seasonal product into exact card numbers and categories. Use it before searching for a player, insert, variation, or relic.

Topps’ 14-page checklist includes the intended product configuration at the time of production and notes that actual contents and odds may vary.

Base and Chrome checklist structure

The base set runs from H1 through H200. The Base Cards Chrome Variation section runs from HC1 through HC200 and follows the same player sequence in the published checklist.

Verified base examples include:

  • H50 Aaron Judge
  • H84 Mike Trout
  • H100 Shohei Ohtani
  • H161 Konnor Griffin, Rookie
  • H170 Roman Anthony, Rookie
  • H183 Kevin McGonigle, Rookie

These examples help demonstrate the numbering system. They are not a ranking or a prediction of value.

Insert and variation sections

The checklist separates the following categories:

Category Published numbering or structure
Die Cut Ornament DCO-1 through DCO-20
Holiday Variation Backs Separate short-print and super-short-print lists
Holiday Variations Separate short-print and super-short-print lists
Hidden Elf HE-1 through HE-25
Making the NICE List! MNL-1 through MNL-25
Oversized Die Cut Ornament OO-1 through OO-20
Holiday Faux Relics Five themed entries
Holiday Relics Player checklist using HR prefixes

The Topps product page also names Metallic Gingerbread Man and Snow Days as new parallels. Use final manufacturer information and the actual card when identifying a parallel, because a checklist category alone does not establish odds or guarantee availability in every format.

Build a player-based checklist

Record the player, card number, category and collection status. If a player appears in several sections, keep each version on a separate line. This prevents a base card, Chrome variation, holiday variation and relic from being treated as interchangeable.

For Hidden Elf cards, read our identification guide because Topps’ product-page wording and checklist presentation differ.

Search with exact terms

Start with the year, product, player and card number. Add the exact category only when it matches the checklist and photographs. For example, an HE number belongs to Hidden Elf, while DCO identifies a Die Cut Ornament.

Review front and back images for singles. Seller keywords can help discovery, but the visible card and official checklist provide stronger identification evidence.
