Topps lists 2026 MLS Black and White Soccer for preorder November 3 at noon Eastern, or 11 a.m. Central, through EQL. The official product page identifies an online preorder event; it does not give a physical delivery date. Recheck the page before entering or ordering.

The official checklist gives collectors enough detail to start with a specific card. This guide joins our new releases hub and MLS Chrome Sapphire guide, with a separate research path for this monochrome release.

Start with the 80-card base set

The official Topps checklist runs from base card 1 through 80. Useful starting points include:

Player Base card Rookie designation in this section
Mateo Silvetti 28 Rookie
Lionel Messi 29 None
David Beckham 35 None
Jude Terry 37 Rookie
Son Heung-Min 38 None
Adri Mehmeti 50 Rookie

Save the year, full product name and card number together. When checking a listing, ask for photographs of both sides and match the actual card to your notes. Our card identification guide explains the process.

Four insert families to search separately

That same manufacturer PDF lists Global Impact: 25 cards; Developmental: 15; Golden Hour: 15; and Flashpoint: five. Together with base, these are 140 numbered checklist entries.

For Messi, the insert identifiers are GI-10, GH-2 and FP-1. For Mehmeti, Developmental is DV-10. Include the family and code in your research notes so that different cards of the same player stay separate.

Use the Topps checklist-reading guide if you need help following section headings and prefixes. Choose a target from the PDF before browsing; avoid buying from a player-name match alone.

Autograph lists are separate from numbered cards

Topps' checklist separately lists 61 Base Card autograph subjects, 18 Global Impact autograph subjects and nine Developmental autograph subjects. These lists provide names without card numbers. Messi appears in the Base Card and Global Impact autograph lists; Mehmeti appears in all three.

Search the exact autograph family, then inspect the offered card. Do not assign an unsigned card's number to an autograph listing without checking its photographs. Keep your shortlist specific: player, product, family, autograph status and any visible serial stamp.

What remains unconfirmed for a box purchase

The current Topps product page does not state packs per box, cards per pack, an autograph-per-box guarantee, pricing or shipment timing. Those details remain unconfirmed in this guide. Read the live offer's terms before paying, and use the official release calendar for schedule checks; Topps states that dates can change.

Before placing an order:

  1. Confirm whether the offer is a sealed box, single card or break spot.
  2. Read the seller's fulfillment date and any preorder terms.
  3. Ask for the exact format and written configuration when comparing boxes.
  4. For singles, request clear front, back and surface photographs; use our raw condition guide to organize your inspection.
  5. Compare the delivered cost and terms for the same card or format.

The disclosed eBay searches below separate Messi, Developmental and autograph research. Check each result carefully for the year, product and actual item offered. Search results do not establish availability or TheCardBoardReport inventory. You can also visit our shop to browse the linked store.

Next step: choose one checklist entry, record its complete identity and compare matching listings. Continue with the MLS Sapphire guide to research a different MLS product, or return to the new releases hub for the next release to investigate.
