The final week of September spans premium basketball, prospect football, Chrome tennis, Star Wars, Premier League soccer, and several preorders. That variety makes product names easy to confuse, especially when marketplace sellers mix preorders, boxes, singles, and break spots in the same results.
Updated September 28, 2026 against the Topps release calendar and linked product pages. Topps says calendar dates are subject to change. Check the live manufacturer page and the seller's fulfillment language before ordering.

The most useful way to compare this week
Start with your collecting goal. A collector seeking a specific tennis player, Star Wars character, or basketball rookie can research singles without paying for the uncertainty of a sealed box. Someone who wants the pack-opening experience should compare only identical formats and read the published configuration.
Before buying, identify whether the listing is:
- a sealed box or pack;
- an individual card;
- a team, player, or character break spot;
- a preorder with future fulfillment; or
- a digital image advertising something different in the description.
Our card identification guide explains how card numbers, parallels, and set names work. The collecting glossary decodes terms such as refractor, relic, short print, and serial numbered.
Release-day prices need context
Early asking prices often appear before enough completed sales exist to establish a useful comparison range. An active listing shows what a seller wants; it does not prove what buyers have paid. Use the sports card price research guide to compare exact versions and recent sold results.
For raw singles, inspect centering, corners, edges, and surfaces with our raw card condition guide. For thick memorabilia cards or encased premium cards, plan storage before the order arrives; the card storage guide explains the basic options.
What we are intentionally not guessing
Topps currently publishes little product detail for Holiday Football, Collector Kit Wave 2, and Vault Disney beyond their calendar entries. Until official configurations and checklists appear, a short verified calendar note is more useful than a long article filled with assumptions.
Use the focused guides above for products with enough manufacturer information to compare responsibly. This page will remain the hub connecting the final September releases as details change.
