2026 Bowman Football Sapphire Edition is scheduled for October 29. The current Topps release calendar lists that date, and Topps has linked a dedicated Sapphire checklist in its official checklist directory. Start with that document when building a player list or checking a seller's card number.

This guide supports our football cards hub and the October 21-November 2 release planner. Its focus is the Sapphire checklist; the standard Bowman Football checklist guide covers the separate paper-and-Chrome product.

Official sources checked October 21, 2026. Topps says release dates can change. The hero is original conceptual artwork, not an actual card or package.

Which checklist should you download?

Download the official Sapphire checklist, which has 13 pages. Check the filename before saving it to your research folder.

These are the numbering ranges in that document:

Group Card numbers Entries in the numbered sequence
College prospects BCP-1 through BCP-201 201
NFL base BCV-1 through BCV-100 100
NFL rookies BCV-101 through BCV-200 100

Those counts describe the listed sequences, not a box's contents. Keep a separate checklist column for the group so that a prospect and an NFL rookie do not end up treated as the same collecting category.

Where is Arch Manning on the Sapphire checklist?

Topps lists Arch Manning at BCP-201, following Bryce Underwood at BCP-200. Other useful prospect search anchors are CJ Carr, BCP-110, and Bear Bachmeier, BCP-26. The rookie sequence includes Fernando Mendoza, BCV-101, and Carnell Tate, BCV-118. Each appears in the official Sapphire PDF.

For a Manning search, include the year, Football, Sapphire and BCP-201. Ask for a clear back photograph and match it to the front before comparing listings. Do not assign a parallel or print run from blue reflected color alone; record any visible serial number and verify the exact version separately.

Our card identification guide walks through that record. Use the serial-number guide when a seller describes a card as numbered.

Keep inserts and autograph cards on separate lists

The same manufacturer checklist includes Hidden Gems and Treasured Talent inserts, plus autograph groups for NFL players, rookies and prospects. It also lists Sapphire Selections autograph sections for NFL and college subjects.

Build a separate want-list row for each card you intend to buy. A player's inclusion in one section should not replace checking the exact autograph section and card code. For signed singles, ask for photographs that show both the signature and the identifying information on the back.

What does the checklist leave unresolved?

The PDF names cards; it does not provide a pack configuration, autograph-per-box promise or parallel odds table. Topps also cautions that actual contents and odds can differ from its intended configuration. Treat those as separate research questions, not conclusions supplied by a player list.

Before ordering sealed product, find the exact manufacturer's offer and confirm:

  1. Whether the item is a complete sealed box, a loose pack or a break position.
  2. The stated pack and card counts and the precise wording of any guarantee.
  3. Whether the seller has it in hand or is accepting an advance order.
  4. Handling time, delivery terms and the total cost including shipping.

Use the presale buying guide for advance listings and the Topps odds-sheet guide when researching a published odds document. This article does not assign unverified pull rates or box guarantees.

Turn the checklist into a buying plan

Choose a player and card number first, then add the parallel, signature status, condition and maximum delivered cost to your notes. Compare sold examples of that exact version using our price research guide.

The searches below cover the wider marketplace and may return other years, standard Bowman cards or break spots. Inspect each result; a search link does not establish that a matching card is available. You can also browse our current shop, without assuming this upcoming release is in our inventory.

Next, save your Sapphire want list and return to the football cards hub for related releases, or use the exact-number searches below to compare relevant listings.
